High school students in the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics Curriculum (STEM) and their advisers join the briefing of STEM teachers on laboratory services which they can avail themselves of from PhilRice and the Central Luzon State University (CLSU) in connection with their research studies. The briefing was done to provide equal opportunities in the availment of the services for the purpose from the said institutions. PhilRice and CLSU support the students in coming up with productive and reliable researches in a bid to create a strong research and development workforce in the future. This was during the Farms and Industry Encounters through the Science and Technology Agenda (FIESTA) on Rice conducted by the Central Luzon Agriculture, Aquatic and Resources Research and Development Consortium (CLAARRDEC). The said event adopts the theme, Diwang Makabago at Tradisyunal na Teknolohiya sa Agrikultura at Pangisdaan, Handog sa mga Pilipinong Magsasaka.
