CMU President leads celebration of NOMCAARRD FIESTA. Dr. Maria Luisa R. Soliven, Northern Mindanao Consortium for Agriculture, Aquatic and Natural Resources Research and Development (NOMCAARRD) Regional Research and Development Coordinating Council (RRDCC) Chair and Central Mindanao University (CMU) President, welcomes the participants of the NOMCAARRD Farms and Industry Encounters through the Science and Technology Agenda (FIESTA) during its opening ceremonies at the Central Mindanao University Convention Center.
Held on March 21-22, 2018, the event features engineered bamboo and goat production technologies. Dr. Soliven explained FIESTA as a technology and knowledge diffusion platform and its role in government's interest to facilitate the commercialization of matured productive technologies for the agriculture, aquatic, and natural resources sector. The NOMCAARRD logo and video story, which among other things presented the consortium's contributions to regional development, past and present, were launched before the ribbon cutting, which formally opened the NOMCAARRD FIESTA.
