DOST-PCAARRD joins the 2015 AGRILINK

Visitors of the Philippine Council for Agriculture, Aquatic and Natural Resources Research and Development of the Department of Science and Technology (DOST-PCAARRD) exhibit at the 2015 AGRILINK took interest in the banana fruits and plantlets display. The exhibit showcased the products of the projects of the Industry Strategic S&T Program for banana, which focused on reducing disease incidence of banana bunchy top virus and Fusarium wilt in major banana-growing areas.

Other projects featured in DOST-PCAARRD’s exhibit were shrimp disease quick detection kit, Pinoy Longline for mussel culture, and coconut genomics.

Established in 1993, AGRILINK is the largest agribusiness exhibition show in the Philippines. The exhibition presents the widest range of poultry, livestock, fruits, vegetables, flowers, farm inputs, and services offered by both local and foreign companies.
