To further promote its Industry Strategic Science and Technology Plan (ISP), the Philippine Council for Agriculture, Aquatic and Natural Resources Research and Development (PCAARRD) capitalizes on the radio.
Through the radio program, “Pananaw” over DZIQ, PCAARRD hopes to raise listeners’ awareness on PCAARRD’s new initiatives and to communicate to the public its ISP.
The PCAARRD ISP sets the vision and direction of S&T in the agriculture, aquatic and natural resources (AANR) sectors and seeks to influence other players to align their efforts towards the attainment of a robust industry by 2016.
Aired topics to date were on ISP in general and on rice.
For the succeeding episodes, the ISPs on goat, dairy, milkfish and tilapia will be tackled.
Hosted by former Congressman Angelito Sarmiento and Pilita Dayang, “Pananaw” is a weekly radio program produced by the Makabagong Pananaw Foundation, Inc. It airs every Sunday, 10─11am over DZIQ 990 AM and can be viewed live via video streaming at www.dziq.am.
