“Without your help, we will not be able to effectively disseminate information generated from our research,” said Dr. Reynaldo V. Ebora, Acting Executive Director of the Philippine Council for Agriculture, Aquatic and Natural Resources Research and Development of the Department of Science and Technology (DOST-PCAARRD), during the DOST-PCAARRD Technology to People Media Conference for the 1st Quarter of 2019.
Held on February 27, 2019 at DOST-PCAARRD, the media conference aimed to present selected DOST-PCAARRD technologies for the dissemination of media partners.
A total of 49 media practitioners with DOST-PCAARRD officials and staff attended the conference where five technologies from crops, aquaculture, and marine resources were presented by the researchers/technology generators.
Dr. Ebora acknowledged the important role of media practitioners in bringing timely, relevant, and adequate information to farmers and other PCAARRD stakeholders. He expressed his gratitude for their enduring commitment in the promotion of agriculture and aquatic innovations.
He also encouraged media partners to participate in the 2019 Ulat SIPAG awards, wherein outstanding efforts of media partners will be recognized.
