The Council joined other agencies of the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) in expressing its commitment to the Department’s eight outcomes during the “Commitment Day” held recently at the DOST Central Office grounds in Taguig City.
The event, branded by the DOST community as “Juan Direction,” refers to the Filipinos’ single, harmonized journey to progress.
DOST’s eight outcomes are on the areas of agriculture, education, connectivity, information technology-business process management, industries, enterprise, disaster preparedness, and health.
For its part, PCAARRD commits to “provide science-based know-how and tools that enable the agricultural sector to raise productivity to world-class standards.”
