Staff members of the PCARRD Management Information Services Division (MISD) recently visited the Farmers Information and Technology Services (FITS) centers in Dumangas and New Lucena in Iloilo. The PCARRD team monitored the data content build-up and interconnectivity of the centers, and also briefed the FITS staff on how to improve their ICT services.
The Council’s delegation was composed of Annabelle B. Carandang, Rick Adrian Mulimbayan, and Ella B. Banales.
Joining the MISD group were representatives of the Central Philippine University (CPU) – the partner member agency of the FITS centers. The CPU representatives comprised the Techno Gabay Program headed by Dr. Reynaldo Dusaran, team leader; Engr. Aries Roda Romallosa, Regional Management Information Systems representative; and this writer of the Regional Applied Communications Group (RACG).
