RACO and RMIS meet in Cebu. Selected staff members of PCARRD’s Applied Communication Division and Management Information Services Division met recently with the Regional Applied Communication Offices (RACO) and Regional Management Information Services (RMIS) to discuss the implementation of the TechnoMart and one-stop-information shops (OSIS) in the regions.
Specifically, the participants discussed the mechanisms to fast track the content development, and improvement and management of their public facilities, such as the regional OSIS, websites, and databases to make these more accessible to the clients. For TechnoMart, participants were given some insights regarding the roles of RACO and RMIS in promoting their respective products that would encourage partnerships with business organizations and the private sector.
TechnoMart is PCARRD’s new banner program aimed at bringing more agri-based products from the communities to the markets.
Held at the Cebu Business Hotel in Cebu City, the workshop was participated in by 28 RACO and RMIS coordinators.
