PCAARRD showcased its science and technology (S&T) interventions in the agriculture, aquatic and natural resources sectors in an exhibit in the recently concluded National Science and Technology Week (NSTW) celebration led by its mother agency, the Department of Science and Technology (DOST). Despite the increase in the overall swine farm production efficiency, the Philippines still lags behind other swine-producing countries due to poor performance, specifically in terms of reproductive traits.

The program will run for two and a half years.

The Philippine Agricultural Economics and Development, Inc. (PAEDA) will hold its 49th biennial convention at the Central Mindanao University in Musuan, Maramag, Bukidnon on October 23―25.
